Transportation Manager (Brown Transportation)
Up to $150,000 per year
ViWinTech is currently seeking at Transportation Manager for Brown Transportation, ViWinTech’s freight transport company. The Transportation Manager directs and manages all transportation operations for ViWinTech’s fleet.
Position Summary:
Directs and manages all transportation operations with overall responsibilities for fleet management, CDL driver supervision, safety compliance, delivery scheduling, equipment maintenance, logistics coordination, and other transportation-related activities for Brown Transportation and product delivery.
Essential Job Functions:
· Directs and manages transportation operations including fleet scheduling, driver supervision, equipment maintenance, and delivery coordination.
· Sets transportation performance goals and monitors on-time delivery, routing efficiency, and driver productivity.
· Implements cost-effective systems of control over transportation expenses including fuel usage, maintenance costs, labor, and outside freight.
· Develops and implements transportation efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Establishes and monitors overall fleet performance for safety, delivery reliability, and operational efficiency.
· Controls and minimizes transportation costs including overtime, detention time, breakdown expenses, and premium freight.
· Maintains existing fleet vehicles and transportation equipment; schedules maintenance, repairs, or replacements as necessary.
· Provides leadership and training to drivers and transportation staff to accomplish company goals and delivery expectations.
· Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs for trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
· Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations including DOT and CDL requirements.
· Oversees transportation scheduling and coordination with plant operations to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
· Provides direction, development, and leadership to CDL drivers and transportation personnel.
· Manages and monitors driver safety performance and compliance to reduce accidents, injuries, and violations.
· Communicates regularly with plant management, customer service, and senior leadership regarding delivery performance and transportation operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages direct and indirect subordinates in the transportation department including CDL drivers and transportation support staff. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these personnel in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Performance Bonus: This position will also include a performance bonus that is tied to accident and safety metrics.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
